What to expect as a self-funding patient
As a private patient you should expect:
- To receive a quotation in advance of being booked in for any treatment or diagnostics so that you’re aware of the costs prior to attending a consultation.
- To receive our self-funding terms and conditions prior to your booking being confirmed
- To receive an appointment within 2 weeks of your referral being accepted.
- To have a named clinician undertake your treatment/diagnostics
Frequently asked questions for private patients
Can I self-refer for private care?
Yes, you can. We will accept a self-referral from all private patients however, we reserve the right to undertake treatment or diagnostics. This would be a clinically led decision, taken in the best interests of the patient, based on the assessment you have during your initial consultation
How do I pay for my treatment?
We ask that patients pay for their treatment or diagnostics ahead of attending their appointment (this would be based on the quotation you receive). We accept payments via card (face-to-face and telephone) or dependant on your treatment plan, you can also pay by cash.
When can I expect an appointment?
You should receive an appointment within 2 weeks of your referral being accepted.
